nau mai
haere mai.I love helping people weather that is the customer or staff. I bring with me a strong team player history and a pragmatic style. An example of this is when in banking I was mentoring a team member
and she was having an issue with a particular customer when he came in to pay his bill. When I was serving on the counter beside this team member when a customer came in and started to get angry. I thanked him initially for coming to see me and giving me the chance to resolve the issues. (The customer did not know how to react) Then I reiterated the issues and dealt with each issue one by one. This calmed the customer down straight away and
at the end of our conversation he thanked me for helping him. After the customer had left the teller came to me and liked how I managed the issue. The teller tried it herself and got impressive results immediately. I think this is a good example of my Strong communication and rapport building skills. When in banking I worked in a few areas from on the counter taking care of the customers immediate needs or taking them into the banking room where I provided more tailored solutions to their needs or referring them to a specialist when needed. This is also a fitting example of my strong organisational skills
being able to take the initiative and a can-do attitude. When I am not working you can find me volunteering in the Christchurch Hospital Volunteer shop or in the past guiding people around the hospital where my great customer service and good sense of humour help many people. This is an example of my passion for helping people. I have just completed the St Johns First Aid Certificate Level 2 and more recently the St Johns Metal Health Certificate. All the above are particularly important skills and transferable to this role. With years of working with multiple computer systems in banking and having completed New Zealand Certificate in Business (Accounting Support Services) (Level 4). I am Confident in learning new digital platforms.
