West Ashley Library Cover Letter

Dear Whom it May Concern, I am writing in regards to the Teen Services Library Associate position at the West Ashley Library. I am immensely excited about this opportunity to work with the Library in a capacity that allows me to serve the teen community. As someone who has spent a great deal of my time as a teenager working within my local library, I have a passion for teen services and a keen understanding of what this age group needs and responds to in a library setting. I am confident that I can provide excellent customer service, while also engaging teens in the Library's many programs and services. In addition to my personal interest in teen services, I also have the necessary skills and qualifications for this position. I have a degree in Library Science from the College of Charleston and I am proficient in a variety of library software programs. I am also comfortable working with computers and other technology, which is essential for this position. I believe that I would be an excellent Teen Services Library Associate and I am eager to put my skills and experience to work for the West Ashley Library.
