Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversee all aspects of the Refugee Response project
including planning
implementation
monitoring
and evaluation in partnership with national NGO partners. 2. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
including government agencies
UN agencies
NGOs
and community-based organizations
to ensure effective coordination and collaboration. 3. Provide technical guidance and support to project staff and partners 4. Lead WHH’s Ethiopia programming on conflict sensitivity
and peacebuilding principles and practices. 5. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track project progress
measure impact
and ensure accountability. 6. Prepare timely and accurate project reports for internal and external stakeholders
including donors
government agencies
and partner organizations. 7. Manage project budgets effectively
ensuring timely disbursement of funds
adherence to donor regulations
and financial accountability. 8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges to project implementation and develop strategies to mitigate them. 9. Represent WHH in relevant forums
meetings
and working groups related to refugee response
conflict sensitivity and nexus approaches in Ethiopia. 10. Lead capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners to enhance their skills and knowledge in conflict sensitivity
peacebuilding
and nexus. 11. Support the documentation of experiences and lessons learned from projects
including the production of learning briefs and general documentation. 12. Ensure that gender equality and protection considerations are integrated into all aspects of project planning and implementation 13. Support in the identification of co-financing/follow-up opportunities to be pursued and ensure the timely development of successful project proposals in line with the relevant donor regulations and strategies. 14.
