Dear Human,
First of all, let me just say, I am thrilled to be writing this cover letter to a fellow human. As someone who spends most of their days talking to robots, it's nice to have a real conversation for a change.
Now, let's get down to business. My name is Arnob and I am a web developer extraordinaire. I saw your ad for a web developer to make changes to your website and I couldn't help but think, "Wow, this Human person sounds like a cool dude." (Or dudette, I don't want to assume your gender. #2020)
But seriously, after reading the job description, I knew I had to apply. I mean, who wouldn't want to work for a company called [insert company name]? It sounds so mysterious and intriguing. Plus, the fact that it's located in Canada just adds to the appeal. I've always wanted to live in a place where the national sport is ice hockey and maple syrup flows freely.
But enough about my personal preferences, let's talk about what I can bring to the table. As a web developer, I have years of experience in creating and maintaining websites. I have a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of coding languages. I can whip up a website faster than you can say "Tim Berners-Lee" (he's the guy who invented the World Wide Web, in case you were wondering).
But what sets me apart from other web developers is my sense of humor. I firmly believe that websites should not only be functional, but also fun and engaging. I like to inject a little bit of wit and charm into my work, because let's face it, no one wants to visit a boring website. Am I right or am I right?
I also have a deep love for all things technology. I'm always keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in the industry. I can code in my sleep and I dream in HTML. I'm also a pro at troubleshooting and finding creative solutions to any technical issues that may arise.
But enough about my skills, let's talk about why I specifically want to work for [insert company name]. From what I've gathered, your company values creativity, innovation, and a good sense of humor. These are all qualities that I possess and I can already tell that we would make a great team.
In addition, I was impressed by your company's commitment to giving back to the community. I strongly believe in using my skills for the greater good, and I would love the opportunity to work for a company that shares this belief.
I also love the fact that your company is located in Canada. As someone who has always been fascinated by Canadian culture, I can't think of a better place to work. Plus, I've heard the people there are incredibly nice and I could definitely use some more niceness in my life.
In all seriousness, I am extremely excited about the possibility of joining your team as a web developer. I am confident that my skills, experience, and personality would make me a valuable asset to your company.
Thank you for taking the time to read my cover letter. I hope it made you chuckle and gave you a glimpse of who I am as a person (and as a web developer, of course). I look forward to hearing back from you and hopefully setting up an interview to discuss this position further.
Sincerely,
Arnob (the human web developer)
