Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to apply for the position of Associate Editor, Psychology at W. W. Norton. This particular position interests me because of my background in psychology and my interest in publishing. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois. I have experience working in both academic and clinical settings. I have also worked as a freelance editor for a number of years. In this capacity, I have edited papers for publication in academic journals, as well as books for a general audience. I believe that my experience and skills make me an ideal candidate for this position. I am familiar with the APA style of writing and have a keen eye for detail.
