Dear UT GEAR UP, I am interested in applying for the Summer College Camp Counselor position. I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and I have a passion for working with students. I am a firm believer in the power of education to change lives, and I am excited to work with UT GEAR UP to provide college access to underserved students. I have experience working with students in a variety of settings. I have worked as a tutor, a mentor, and a camp counselor. I have also worked with students in an after-school program. In addition to my experience working with students, I am also proficient in Microsoft 365 and R. I am confident that I can quickly learn any new software that may be necessary for this position.
