Dear UNICEF Liberia, I am writing to express my interest in the position of Child Protection Officer with your esteemed organization. As a highly experienced and dedicated professional, I am confident that I possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this role and contribute to the mission of UNICEF Liberia. My name is Keashav Khadka and I come with over 8 years of practical clinical working experience in Health Assistance and 3 years of practical working experience in Public Health. In my last 3 years, I have had the privilege of working as an assigned Public Health Officer, diligently fulfilling my duties and responsibilities as per the provided Terms of Reference. I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with the Chief of Health Office as well as other government bodies, which has allowed me to gain valuable insights and expertise in the field of public health. In my role as a Public Health Officer, I have been responsible for conducting promotive, supportive, preventive, and coordination health-related programs in the Health Office of Kathmandu. My duties have also included performing routine activities for disease prevention and control programs, such as micro planning for vaccination against COVID-19. I have also been actively involved in monitoring, supervision, coordination, logistic management, and reporting of COVID-19 centers. During the pandemic, I have also had the opportunity to review documents and actions taken by the municipality in order to analyze the lessons learned and improve future responses to public health emergencies. My previous working experience as an Embassy of India in Kathmandu has further enhanced my skills and expertise in coordinating, supporting, and facilitating communication with partners. I have also been responsible for providing training and capacity building to our partners, which has allowed me to develop strong leadership and communication skills. I am particularly drawn to the role of Child Protection Officer with UNICEF Liberia because of the organization's commitment to protecting and promoting the rights of every child. I am deeply passionate about this cause and I believe that every child deserves a safe and secure environment to grow and thrive in. I am inspired by UNICEF's mission to create a better world for children and I am eager to be a part of this noble cause. My skills and experience align perfectly with the role of a Child Protection Officer. I possess strong organizational and coordination skills, which I have honed through my years of experience in the field.
