I have been fortunate enough to work in the field of conservation for the past 8 years, and during this time, I have gained valuable experience in various roles such as Conservation Officer, Project Manager, and currently, as a Senior Conservation Specialist at a leading international NGO. What initially drew me to UNEP-WCMC is its global reputation as a leader in conservation and its commitment to making a positive impact on our planet. I have long admired the organization's dedication to providing science-based information and solutions to address the most pressing environmental challenges we face today. It would be an honor for me to be a part of such a reputable and impactful organization. The role of Deputy Head of Nature Conserved particularly caught my attention as it aligns perfectly with my skills, experience, and career goals. I am impressed by the diverse range of responsibilities that come with this position, from managing and implementing conservation projects to leading a team of dedicated professionals. I am confident that my experience in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement has prepared me to excel in this role.
