Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to express my interest in the Program Assistant position at Ujyalo Foundation. As a highly motivated and passionate advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment, I am confident that my skills and experience make me a strong candidate for this role. First and foremost, I am extremely impressed by Ujyalo Foundation's vision and mission to create safe spaces for girls, women, and nonbinary individuals to learn and lead in Nepal. I am particularly drawn to the organization's focus on fostering diverse feminist voices and promoting sustainable development in rural areas. This aligns perfectly with my own values and career goals. My educational background includes a Master of Political Science from Tribhuvan University, a Bachelor of Arts in Bachelor of Laws from Ratna Rajyalaxmi Campus, and a Diploma in Intermediate Management from Liverpool International College. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB) and am in my second semester. I am also fluent in Nepali and English, with conversational skills in Hindi. In terms of professional experience, I have worked as a Legislative Counsel for the Secretariat of Hon'ble Rajendra Prasad Lingden, where I gained valuable skills in legislative drafting and comparative legislative analysis. I also have experience as a Legal Advisor for Himalayan Dream Team, where I ensured compliance with policies and regulations while managing legal files. Additionally, I have a strong background in program management and event coordination. As the Founding Director and Treasurer of Paluwa Pleaders, a non-profit initiative promoting legal research and social advocacy, I have successfully coordinated research teams and organized various discourses. I am also currently a Faculty of Constitutional Law at De Jure Institute of Law and Legal Affairs, where I teach law school entrance aspirants. What I find most exciting about this position at Ujyalo Foundation is the opportunity to work closely with the Program Coordinator in designing and implementing leadership and diversity programs. I am confident that my skills in program planning, implementation, and execution, as well as my experience in public relations and stakeholder management, align perfectly with the responsibilities outlined in the job description. Moreover, my experience in reporting, monitoring, and evaluation, along with my strong communication and documentation skills, make me well-equipped to contribute to the development of program reports and proposals. I am also well-versed in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, which I believe will be valuable in this role. Aside from my professional experiences, I am also actively involved in various volunteer and community initiatives, such as the Nepal Law Campus Library Reorganization Event and the First Science, Information and Technology National Youth Conference. These experiences have not only enhanced my skills in networking and relationship-building but have also deepened my understanding of social issues and the importance of creating safe spaces for marginalized groups. Furthermore, I am impressed by Ujyalo Foundation's commitment to creating a gender-just world and fostering the leadership and decision-making roles of girls, women, and nonbinary individuals. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to this mission and support the organization's vision within the next five years. In conclusion, I am confident that my skills, experience, and passion for gender equality and women's empowerment make me a strong fit for the Program Assistant role at Ujyalo Foundation. I am eager to utilize my expertise and contribute to the organization's efforts in creating a more equitable and inclusive society. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further. Sincerely, Mahul
