Kia ora, I am interested in applying for the position of Māori Across-Kura Collaborator with Timaru North/South Kāhui Ako. I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years' experience teaching in Māori-medium settings. I am passionate about working with Māori students and supporting them to achieve their educational aspirations. I have a strong understanding of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga and am committed to promoting Māori language and culture in Aotearoa. I believe that I have the skills and experience necessary to be successful in this role. I am an effective communicator and have a proven ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and whānau. I am also highly organised and have proven time management skills.
