I have been following the university's growth and success for quite some time now and I am truly inspired by its mission to foster a community of faith, excellence, and service. I believe that my 20+ years of experience in advanced marketing positions and my strong connections with Catholic education make me an ideal candidate for this position. One of the main reasons why I am drawn to this particular position at The University of Saint Thomas is because it combines my passion for marketing with my deep-rooted Catholic values. Being a 45-year practicing Catholic myself, I understand the importance of Catholic education in shaping young minds and instilling values that go beyond academic achievements. My family has a long history of serving the Catholic community, having built a small church on our family-owned memorial cemetery that has now been given over to the Detroit Catholic Diocese. This has instilled in me a strong sense of service and a deep understanding of the Catholic faith, which I believe will be valuable assets in promoting the university's mission and values. My experience in marketing spans across various industries, including education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. I have successfully built brands, communicated brand value, and developed go-to-market strategies for numerous companies.
