I have worked in various roles such as district fisheries extension officer, pond and hatchery construction supervisor, fish hatchery manager, and chief of government fisheries development centers. These roles have allowed me to work closely with local communities, farmers, and government officials to implement effective fisheries programs and promote sustainable practices. One of my most significant achievements was leading a two-year project funded by FAO titled 'Improving national carp seed production system in Nepal.' I had the privilege of managing the project secretariat and overseeing its implementation at the field level. This opportunity not only allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge but also gave me a deeper understanding of FAO's work and its impact on the ground. In addition to my extensive practical experience, I also hold a Diploma in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) and a Master's degree in Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. I have also participated in various training courses in China, Bangladesh, Thailand, and India, further enhancing my technical skills and knowledge in the field of fisheries.
