I have gained a long experience of a minimum of 35 years as fisheries professional under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development
Government of Nepal in various capacities from the level of Class III officer upto the level of Joint Secretary (Fisheries
Class I Officer) and Director (Level-11 Officer
Directorate of Livestock and Fisheries Development
Province-2). During my job of 35 years
I have worked for 1. The district fisheries extension programme
2. The pond & hatchery construction works for farmers
3. Fish hatchery operation and management
4. The conduction and management of fisheries training programmes at the centres and in the field
5. The management of the central fish laboratory
6. The management of the government fisheries development centres as the chief
7. The fisheries programme planning and implementation at district level
fisheries development centre level
regional level and national level
8. The inland fisheries management in the natural waters
9. Monitoring the aquaculture value chain and making supportive programmes for its development 10. The strengthening
supporting and monitoring of cold water aquaculture (rainbow trout)
11. A two year project namely 'Improving national carp seed production system in Nepal (FAO/TCP/NEP/3303) in leading role for the management of the secretariat of the project and as well for the implementation of the project at the field level

Province-2 of Nepal I completed my Diploma in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) in 1982. My carrier in the field of fisheries development started as a fisheries development officer (Class III Officer) under the Government of Nepal
Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) on May 20
1984 and worked for about 23 years and 8 months. During this period
I worked for fisheries extension in different districts
and as an assistant as well as chief of various fisheries development centres. During this period I also got chances to attend various job-related training courses in China (Integrated Fish Farming
