I am writing in regards to the Communications Advisor position with the City of Toronto Media Relations & Issues Management unit. I am extremely interested in this role and feel that I would be the perfect candidate.
I have a wide range of skills and experience in communications, including content creation, copywriting, public speaking, speech writing, copy editing, research, social media promotion, web content, SEO, journalism, interviewing, educational writing, Content Management Systems, WordPress, newspapers, editorial management, voice-overs, audio recording and editing (Logic Pro), children's media, and more.
I am a highly motivated and proactive individual who is always looking for new and innovative ways to improve communications. I am a quick learner and have a keen eye for detail. I am also an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
I am interested in this particular position because it emphasizes the importance of effective communications in a public sector setting. I believe that my skills and experience would be a valuable asset to the City of Toronto.
I am available for a full-time, temporary role and am preferably located in Toronto. I am open to a hybrid working arrangement.
