In terms of my qualifications, I have a doctoral degree in Oncology and Human Genetics from Osmania University, Hyderabad. My research work during my doctoral studies focused on finding molecular biomarkers and secondary drug targets responsible for the development, progression, and drug resistance in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. I then went on to pursue my post-doctoral research as a CSIR-Nehru post-doctoral fellow at CSIR-IICT, where I extended my work on cell lines and monitored drug responses. My time at CSIR-IICT also gave me the opportunity to work on different cancer cell lines and utilize naturally extracted in-house compounds for research purposes. Additionally, I have over 11 years of research experience, including my time as a CSIR-Nehru post-doctoral fellow. During this time, I have gained extensive experience in various molecular techniques such as flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays, wound healing assays, senescence assays, immunofluorescence, and gene cloning. I am also skilled in the isolation and quantification of RNA, DNA, cDNA, protein, and plasmid. My proficiency in these techniques has been further enhanced through my experience working with patients and control samples, data collection, and quantitative analysis using statistical software. Apart from my research experience, I have also worked as a Lab Director, On Call Locum Consultant, and Scientific Officer, where I gained valuable skills in SARS-COV2 diagnosis and reporting. I have also published my research work in several peer-reviewed international and national journals, with a citation score of 111, h-index of 7, and i10-index of 6. I have also had the opportunity to present my research at various national and international conferences. My academic credentials include a BSc in Genetics, Microbiology, and Chemistry, and an MSc in Human Genetics. During my doctoral studies, I also mentored several graduate, post-graduate, BTech, and MTech students in the completion of their dissertations. I have also conducted theory and practical classes for MSc students, covering various core areas such as Principles of Inheritance, Cell Biology, Cytogenetics, and Biochemistry, among others.
