Dear Headteacher, I am writing in regards to the Head of Year position at St Thomas a Beckets. I am immensely passionate about this role and firmly believe that I have the skills and experience required to excel in it. Firstly, I have a great deal of experience working with young people and have developed excellent interpersonal skills as a result. I am able to build strong relationships with both students and staff, which I believe is essential for a Head of Year. I am also an excellent communicator and have the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of different people. Secondly, I am extremely organised and have a proven track record of being able to manage a variety of different tasks simultaneously. I am confident that I could effectively manage the day-to-day running of the Head of Year role, as well as any additional responsibilities that may be required. Lastly, I am passionate about education and supporting young people to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that I could make a positive contribution to the lives of the students at St Thomas a Beckets and would be committed to ensuring that they receive the best possible education.
