Dear Recruitment at PGL,
My name is Beca and I am writing to express my sincere interest in the position of Activity Instructor/Group Leader at your esteemed company. With my passion for outdoor activities and my experience in leadership roles, I am confident that I would be a valuable asset to your team.
I have always been drawn to PGL as a company, with its mission to provide unforgettable experiences for young people through adventure and activity-based programs. As someone who loves spending time outdoors, I am thrilled at the opportunity to combine my passion with my career. Your company's commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment for both staff and participants aligns perfectly with my own values.
After researching the company further, I was particularly impressed by the wide range of activities offered, from high ropes and zip lining to canoeing and archery. As an avid rock climber and hiker, I am excited at the prospect of sharing my skills and knowledge with others while also learning and developing new skills myself. The idea of being able to introduce young people to new and exciting activities, and witnessing their growth and confidence throughout their stay, is truly inspiring to me.
In addition to my passion for outdoor activities, I have extensive experience in leadership roles. For the past three years, I have been working as a camp counselor at a summer camp, where I have led and supervised groups of children aged 8-14. Through this role, I have honed my communication and organizational skills, as well as my ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenges with flexibility and creativity. I have also been responsible for planning and implementing daily activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. I believe these skills and experiences make me well-equipped for the role of Activity Instructor/Group Leader at PGL.
Furthermore, I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism, which has provided me with a solid understanding of the principles and practices of outdoor education. During my studies, I also completed a placement at an adventure center, where I gained hands-on experience in leading groups and facilitating outdoor activities. I am confident that my academic background, combined with my practical experience, has prepared me well for a role at PGL.
As a passionate and dedicated individual, I am always seeking opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I am excited at the prospect of joining a team of like-minded individuals who share my love for outdoor adventures and creating meaningful experiences for young people. I am confident that with my skills, enthusiasm, and positive attitude, I would make a valuable contribution to your company.
I am eager to discuss my qualifications and enthusiasm for this role further in an interview. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my skills and passion to PGL and help create unforgettable experiences for your participants.
Sincerely,
Beca
