Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing in regards to the open Esol lecturer position at Southwark College. Based on the job description and my skill set, I believe I am the ideal candidate for this role.
I have over five years of experience teaching Spanish and French to students aged 8-16. I am skilled in creating lesson plans that are tailored to student needs and in line with KS3/4 curriculum. I am also experienced in assessing student levels of progress, identifying areas for improvement, and strategizing to successfully increase student grades.
In my previous role as an Esol lecturer at ABC Language School, I successfully increased student grades by 30% in GSCE examinations. I also have experience teaching students of all levels, from A2-C1 CEFR. My lessons are often centred on developing competence in the four language skills.
I am confident that I can be a valuable asset to the team at Southwark College. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also skilled in administrative duties such as data entry, compiling progress reports, and researching material for seminars.
I am eager to utilize my skills and experience to help the students at Southwark College succeed. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further with you at an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Candice
