I am writing to express my enthusiastic interest in the Intern position with SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania. My name is Bernad Marakalinga Ahobokile and I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Education in Psychology. I have been following the work of SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania and I am impressed by the impact they have made in the lives of vulnerable children and families. It would be an honor to be a part of such an amazing organization and contribute to their mission.
What most attracts me to this particular position is the opportunity to work with the Children in Street Situation (CiSS) Project. I have always been passionate about working with children, especially those who are facing challenging circumstances. Through my education and volunteer experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of child psychology and the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for their overall development. I believe that my skills and dedication align perfectly with the goals of the CiSS Project and I am eager to contribute my knowledge and enthusiasm to this cause.
As an intern, I am excited to learn and grow professionally while making a positive impact in the lives of the children and families in need. I am a self-motivated and determined individual, always eager to take on new challenges and expand my skill set. I am a quick learner and I thrive in a fast-paced environment where I can use my creativity and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions. I am confident that my strong work ethic and adaptability will make me a valuable addition to the SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania team.
During my studies, I have gained a deep understanding of child development theories and practices, as well as the various factors that contribute to children’s well-being. In addition, I have completed a number of internships and volunteer positions where I have had the opportunity to work directly with children and families from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have equipped me with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for building relationships and working effectively with others. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience in data analysis and report writing.
What sets me apart from other candidates is my passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. I have always been drawn to organizations that focus on providing support and resources to those in need, and I believe that SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania is the perfect platform for me to do just that. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills and knowledge to the organization and to work alongside a team of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the world.
In addition to my academic and professional qualifications, I am fluent in English and Swahili, which will allow me to effectively communicate with the children and families in the CiSS Project. I am also familiar with the local culture and customs, having grown up in Tanzania, which will enable me to easily adapt and integrate into the community.
