During my time as a media intern at a local newspaper, I was responsible for capturing and editing photos and videos for various news stories. This experience has not only improved my technical skills, but it has also taught me how to effectively communicate a message through visuals. I am confident that I can bring this skill to the Smithsonian team and help amplify the organization's message through dynamic and engaging visuals. My passion for science and education is also a key factor in my interest in this position. As a former science major, I have a strong understanding of scientific concepts and am able to communicate them in a way that is accessible and engaging for a wide audience.
