Dear Hiring Manager (aka Slideways' Master of Hiring), First and foremost, I hope this letter finds you in a state of joy and contentment, and not drowning in a pile of resumes (although I'm sure they are all very impressive). My name is Leilani, and I am writing to you with great enthusiasm about the Track Assistant position at Slideways. Let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of Slideways. In fact, I have been a loyal customer ever since I was a kid. I have spent countless hours racing around your tracks, pretending to be a professional race car driver (much to the dismay of my parents who were always worried about my safety). So, when I saw the job opening for a Track Assistant, I knew I had to apply. It's like a dream come true (minus the part where I get to drive for hours without having to pay for it). Speaking of the position, I must say that it sounds like the perfect fit for me. As someone who has spent a significant amount of time on your tracks, I am well-versed in all things Slideways. I know the ins and outs of each track, the best racing lines, and the sneaky shortcuts (shh, don't tell anyone). I am also a pro at changing tires and fixing any minor mechanical issues that may arise. I may not have a degree in engineering, but I have a PhD in "Making things work when they are not supposed to." But my skills don't just revolve around racing and fixing things. I am also a pro at customer service. I have worked in various customer-facing roles, and I have learned the importance of making every interaction with a customer a memorable one. Whether it's greeting them with a smile, answering their questions, or helping them with any concerns, I take pride in providing top-notch service. I believe that a happy customer is a returning customer, and I will do everything in my power to make sure they leave with a smile on their face (and hopefully, a desire to come back and race again). Now, let's talk about the perks of working at Slideways. I mean, where else can I get paid to be around race cars and feel like a kid again? Plus, I'm pretty sure my mom will finally stop nagging me about getting a "real job" if I tell her I work at Slideways. Also, I am a firm believer in the saying, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." And I can confidently say that working at Slideways would be a dream come true for me. But enough about me, let's talk about Slideways. I have always been impressed by how the company values safety above everything else. The fact that you have state-of-the-art safety measures in place and provide thorough training to all your employees speaks volumes about your commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for your customers. I admire that about Slideways, and I would be honored to be a part of a team that puts safety first. Also, can we talk about how much fun it would be to work at a place where the whole point is to have fun? I can already imagine all the laughs and good times I would have with my coworkers. And let's not forget about the occasional (or not so occasional) friendly competition on the tracks. I'm always up for a challenge, and I'm pretty sure I can give some of your current employees a run for their money on the track.
