Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing in response to your posting for an Interim Upper School Photography & Imaging Teacher at Sidwell Friends School. I am excited to be considered for this position and believe that my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate. As a professional photographer and educator, I have a deep passion for photography and teaching others. I am experienced in both digital and darkroom photography, and have taught photography classes at the high school and college level. I am confident that I can provide your students with a high-quality, rigorous education in photography and imaging. In addition to my photography experience, I have a strong background in art and design. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and my work has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions. I believe that my artistic background gives me a unique perspective on photography, and allows me to approach teaching from a creative angle.
