Dear Hiring Manager,
Greetings from Ella Cupples, a 1st year tiling apprentice with a passion for all things tiles (yes, I even dream about them). I came across your job posting for a 1st year tiling apprentice at Shoreside Tiling and I couldn't resist the opportunity to apply. I mean, who wouldn't want to work for a company with such a clever name? I can already envision myself tiling away on the shoreside, soaking up the sun and creating beautiful tile masterpieces.
Now, I know what you're thinking - "Does this girl have any experience or is she just another tile fanatic?" Well, let me tell you, I may be new to the tiling world but I am a quick learner and a hard worker. Plus, I have been practicing my tile skills on my bathroom wall at home (don't worry, I got my parents' permission). Let me just say, I have become quite the pro at laying down those tiles in a straight line. And my grouting skills? Let's just say, Picasso would be proud.
But enough about my skills, let me tell you why I am so excited about this particular position at Shoreside Tiling. First of all, your company has been in the tiling game for over 10 years and has a stellar reputation for quality work. I am all about learning from the best and I know I can gain valuable experience and knowledge from your team. Plus, I have heard that your company has a fun and laid-back work environment, which is a huge bonus for me. I mean, who wants to work in a stuffy and serious atmosphere? Not me, that's for sure.
Another thing I like about this position is the opportunity for growth. As a 1st year apprentice, I am eager to learn and advance in my tiling career. I know that Shoreside Tiling values employee development and I am excited to be a part of a company that invests in their employees. I am ready to take on any challenge and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty (or covered in grout).
Now, I may be a tiling enthusiast but I also have some other skills up my sleeve. I am a great team player and I work well under pressure. I am also a pro at time management and can handle multiple tasks at once. And let's not forget my attention to detail - I can spot a crooked tile from a mile away. I am also a quick problem solver and I am not afraid to ask for help when needed. I know that these skills will be valuable assets to your team at Shoreside Tiling.
I must also mention that I have been following your company on social media and I love the projects you have been working on. Your attention to detail and creativity truly inspire me. I am eager to be a part of a team that creates such beautiful and unique tile designs. Plus, I have been practicing my Instagram-worthy tiling photos, so I am ready to contribute to your social media game.
I am also drawn to your company's commitment to giving back to the community. I believe that businesses have a responsibility to make a positive impact and I am excited to be a part of a company that shares this belief. I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get involved in any community projects or initiatives that your company supports.
In conclusion, I am beyond excited about the opportunity to join the team at Shoreside Tiling as a 1st year apprentice. I am eager to learn, grow and make a positive contribution to your company. I am confident that my skills and passion for tiling make me a perfect fit for this position. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to work with a fun and enthusiastic tile fanatic like myself?
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and discuss my qualifications further. Oh, and I promise to bring some of my famous homemade cookies to the interview. I hear they're a hit among tile lovers.
Sincerely,
Ella Cupples (aka the future tile master)
