Dear Whom it May Concern, I am writing to apply for the position of peer tutor with SBU Athletics. I am a senior at SBU and have been a student-athlete on the rowing team for all four years of my undergraduate career. I have tutored fellow student-athletes in a variety of subjects, including math, science, and English, and I have found that I really enjoy helping others to succeed in their studies. I believe that I would be an excellent peer tutor for SBU Athletics because of my strong academic record and my experience in tutoring student-athletes. I am a very patient and supportive tutor, and I am confident that I can help students to achieve their academic goals. In addition, I am familiar with the challenges that student-athletes face in balancing their academic and athletic commitments, and I am able to provide advice and support on time management and study skills.
