Dear Whom it May Concern, I am writing in regards to the Samaritan Health Internship position. I am a senior at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in Health Policy and Management. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in the various aspects of health care including policy, finance, and management. I am confident that I can be a valuable asset to Samaritan Health and would be eager to contribute to the team. Additionally, I have experience working in a hospital setting as a Patient Navigator. In this role, I was responsible for assisting patients and their families with the coordination of their care. I gained invaluable experience interacting with patients, doctors, and insurance companies. This experience has given me a well-rounded perspective of the health care system and how each component works together. I am confident that I have the skills and experience that would make me a successful intern at Samaritan Health.
