Region 4 Cover Letter

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to apply for the position of Dyslexia Education Specialist at Region 4. I am a certified Reading By Design instructor and have worked with students with dyslexia for many years. I am passionate about helping students with dyslexia succeed in school and in life. I believe that my skills and experience make me the perfect candidate for this position. I am familiar with the Orton-Gillingham approach and have been trained in the Wilson Reading System. I have also worked with students who have other learning disabilities, such as ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. In addition, I have experience teaching students with dyslexia in both the regular education and special education setting. I am excited about the opportunity to work with Region 4 and help students with dyslexia reach their full potential.
