Dear Hiring Committee, I am writing to apply for the Education Specialist position at Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. I am passionate about working with children and teaching them about the natural world. This position is the perfect opportunity for me to combine my two passions. I have experience working with children of all ages, both in formal and informal settings. I have also worked as a teacher’s assistant in a kindergarten classroom. In this role, I was responsible for helping to develop and implement lesson plans, as well as working one-on-one with students to help them succeed. I have also volunteered with various organizations that work with children, such as the Boys and Girls Club and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I am confident that I have the skills and experience needed to be successful in this position. In addition to my experience working with children, I have a degree in Education from XYZ University. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I am excited about the opportunity to work at Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium and help to educate children about the amazing animals that live there.
