To be responsible for the preparation
implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program which reflects the centre’s philosophy for the individual children or groups of children in the centre To communicate with parent and carers around the development of their child
respecting confidentiality of information relating to staff
parents and children at all times. To lead and supervise staff
while working collaboratively in a team
to ensure the delivery of a high quality program and practices. Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children
reporting to the Director of the service Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
as well as a current VIT registration Be an experienced Early Childhood Teacher who has previous experience working within a sessional kindergarten setting Have a passion for working in Early Education
along with an ability to clearly and positively communicate and connect with children
parents and colleagues Possess the ability to work effectively with other Early Childhood Teachers and Co-Educators to deliver a high-quality learning program
while creating a safe and supportive learning environment Demonstrate understanding and patience in addressing diverse needs and behaviours of young children Have a strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) Obtain the following: First Aid training Emergency asthma management qualification Management of anaphylaxis qualification Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Mandatory Reporting
