The right person will have a wealth of experience in dealing with sensitive access and subject matter and have a warm personality. Ideally
you will have filmed abroad
but certainly you should have some experience in dealing with law enforcement agencies - whether via blue light or true crime series. When not filming
you will be working remotely (therefore please don't let your location be an obstacle to applying)
but you will be required to be on location up to a maximum of around 12 weeks
between now and Christmas. The most important skill is strong editorial judgement
to help to shape stories
which are all told in the moment. So quick but clear thinking is important. But then the role will also require you to assist with the day-to-day running of the production - from logistics
compliance
writing filming notes
forward planning
maintaining relationships with the cast across different regions and backing up rushes. Due to the different regions of filming
language skills and dual citizenships would be useful but not essential.
