My organizational and managerial skills have been honed through my academic studies and previous work experience. I have a proven track record of successful leadership and coordination, which I have demonstrated through my management of a team of 40-80 people. This has also allowed me to develop strong team building and management skills, which have been crucial in driving the success of my team. Additionally, I possess strong program and budget planning skills, as well as decision making and conflict resolution skills, which have been essential in my previous roles.
I am a self-motivated professional who thrives in collaborative environments. I have a strong ability to adapt to changing situations and am highly flexible, making me well-suited for the fast-paced and dynamic environment at MSF-Belgium. I also have a strong customer service mindset, which has allowed me to effectively meet the needs and expectations of various stakeholders. My multitasking abilities have been crucial in managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring their timely completion. Furthermore, my report writing skills are well-developed, and I am confident in my ability to accurately and effectively document information.

In terms of my location preference, I would be thrilled to work in Ethiopia. As a native of Ethiopia, I am deeply connected to the community and am familiar with the local culture and context. I believe this would allow me to effectively support the mission and build strong relationships with the local community.
In my previous roles, I have gained extensive experience in coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the proper functioning of medical and paramedical activities, as well as participating in the development of strategies and protocols. I am confident that I would excel in my responsibilities as Mission Specialized Activity Manager for the MEET Project by assessing mission needs, designing tools, and monitoring and evaluating the activity at mission level.
I am also experienced in functionally supervising and providing technical support to Project Activity Managers, ensuring consistency and promoting cross-learning among projects. I am confident that I would be able to effectively support and guide the Project Activity Managers under my supervision, while also collaborating with the HR Department to ensure the proper recruitment, training, and development of staff involved in my area of responsibility.
Additionally, I am well-versed in the associated HR processes, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and internal communication, and I am eager to contribute my skills towards building a strong and capable team.
It would be an honor to represent MSF-Belgium before the Ministry of Health and other national and international partners, advocating for the roll-out of area strategies and ensuring adequate human resources. I am also confident in my ability to compile and analyze data and contribute to the mission's reporting, as well as document lessons learned and conduct operational research in this field.
