My name is Anemone Dekker and I am a fit, outdoorsy person who has a deep love for all animals, especially dogs. I have previous experience as a dog walker and I have been eagerly looking for an opportunity to continue working with these amazing creatures. I believe that this aligns perfectly with the role of a Neighbourhood Dog Walker as it requires someone who is physically capable and enjoys spending time outside. I am always up for an adventure and I am excited at the prospect of exploring new areas of Vancouver while walking some of your four-legged clients. In terms of my previous experience as a dog walker, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am well-versed in handling multiple dogs at once and I am able to adapt to each dog's individual needs. I understand the importance of following specific instructions given by the pet owners and I always prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs under my care. I am also trained in basic first-aid for dogs and I am confident in handling any unexpected situations that may arise. I am most interested in the Regular, Flexible hours role that Neighbour is offering as it allows me to have a balanced schedule while still being able to work with dogs. As a dog walker, I understand the importance of being consistent and reliable in order to build trust with the dogs and their owners. I am confident that I can fulfill this role with dedication and commitment. When it comes to location, Vancouver Downtown is my preferred area. I have always been drawn to the energy and diversity of this part of the city. I am familiar with the different neighborhoods and I am comfortable navigating through them. I believe that my knowledge of the area will be an added advantage in providing a smooth and enjoyable walking experience for the dogs.
