Dear Hr,
Greetings from your potential Business Support Manager, Lou! (Yes, like the cartoon mouse. But trust me, I'm much more qualified.)
I stumbled upon your job posting for the Business Support Manager position at MoJ and let me tell you, it was like finding a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. (Minus the creepy Oompa Loompas, I hope.) I couldn't resist the urge to apply and share with you my excitement for this opportunity.
First of all, can we talk about how cool the name MoJ is? It's like the perfect abbreviation for "Mojito," which is my favorite drink. So, basically, I feel like we're already off to a great start. Plus, your company is all about justice and protecting the community, which is a noble cause that I can definitely get behind. As a business support manager, I can use my skills to support the support department (say that five times fast) and help make a positive impact in the world. How awesome is that?
Now, let's get down to business. (See what I did there?) My skills and experience make me a perfect fit for this role. I have a knack for recruiting top talent and making them feel like part of the family. I can charm the pants off of anyone, figuratively speaking of course. But seriously, I have a proven track record of building strong teams and creating a positive work culture. And let's be real, a happy team means a productive team. Am I right or am I right?
I also have experience in PA (no, not the state, Personal Assistant) duties and administrative tasks. I can multitask like a pro and keep everything organized and running smoothly. Plus, I have a sharp eye for detail, so I can spot a typo from a mile away. (Don't worry, I'll keep that to myself unless you want me to proofread all your emails. Just saying.)
One of my strongest skills is workforce and resource planning. I can create schedules and workflows that would make even the most organized person swoon. I'm like a human version of Google Calendar. And when it comes to resource management, I can stretch a dollar further than a piece of gum. (Okay, maybe not that far, but you get the idea.)
I know you mentioned in the job posting that you prefer someone located in Winchester. Well, it's like the stars have aligned because Winchester is my top choice too. I've always been drawn to the charm and history of the city. Plus, who wouldn't want to work in a place known for its beautiful cathedral and delicious cheese? I'm already dreaming of my daily cheese platter during lunch breaks.
But enough about me, let's talk about what I like about this particular position at MoJ. First of all, I love that it's a full-time role. I'm ready to dive in and dedicate myself to this company and its mission. I also appreciate that the role involves supporting multiple departments. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking on new challenges. And let's be honest, variety is the spice of life.
I also admire MoJ's commitment to diversity and inclusion. It's important to me to work for a company that values different perspectives and backgrounds. I truly believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas and innovation.
I could go on and on about why I would be the perfect fit for this role, but I don't want to take up too much of your time. (Plus, I have a feeling you're probably getting a lot of applications from other qualified candidates, but they're not as funny as me.) I would love the opportunity to discuss my skills and experience further in an interview. I'm confident that I can bring a lot to the table (and not just cheese platters) and help take MoJ to the next level.
Thank you for considering me for the Business Support Manager position at MoJ. I hope to hear from you soon and cheers to a potential partnership!
Sincerely,
Lou (The Business Support Manager you never knew you needed)
