Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for the position of Admissions Outreach Coordinator at Martinsburg College. This position interests me because of my interest in working with prospective students and my passion for higher education.
I am a recent graduate of James Madison University, where I majored in Communication Studies and minored in both Education and Leadership. During my time at JMU, I was heavily involved in the admissions process. I served as a student ambassador, giving tours and leading information sessions for prospective students and their families. I also worked as an intern in the JMU Office of Admissions, where I assisted with event planning, marketing, and data analysis. These experiences have given me a strong foundation on which to build as I pursue a career in admissions.
In addition to my experience in admissions, I have also gained valuable skills in customer service, event planning, and marketing. I am confident that I can use these skills to be successful in the role of Admissions Outreach Coordinator.
