When I saw this job opening, I knew I had to apply because let's be real, what could be better than working in a garden filled with BEER?! I mean, it's like a dream come true for any beer lover like myself. First and foremost, I have to say, I am a huge fan of Martin's Food. Your stores have always been my go-to for all my grocery needs. I mean, where else can I find a wide variety of fancy cheeses, organic produce and the perfect six-pack of beer all in one place? Nowhere, that's where. So, the thought of being a part of the Martin's Food team is beyond exciting for me. Now, let's talk about the Beer Garden Associate position. I have to say, I am quite impressed with the job description. Not only will I get to work in a beautiful outdoor setting, but I will also get to educate customers on different types of beer and even help them discover new favorites. As a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur, this is basically my dream job. Plus, I have been told I have a great sense of humor, so I am sure I can bring some fun to the table while pouring pints. But I am not just all about the fun and games, I also have some pretty awesome skills that I believe make me a great fit for this role. First and foremost, I have excellent customer service skills. I have worked in the service industry for several years and have mastered the art of making people happy. Whether it's suggesting the perfect beer to pair with their meal or simply making them laugh, I know how to keep customers satisfied. In addition, I am a quick learner and thrive in fast-paced environments. I understand that working in a beer garden can get pretty busy, but I am not afraid of a little hustle and bustle. Actually, I thrive in it. I am a multitasking ninja and can handle multiple tasks at once without breaking a sweat. So, you can count on me to keep the beer flowing and the customers happy, even during the busiest of days. But wait, there's more! I also have experience in inventory management and cash handling. I know, I know, you're probably thinking "How does this girl have so many amazing skills?!" Well, let's just say I am a jack of all trades. I have worked in various roles in the service industry, from bartender to server to manager, and have gained a wide range of skills along the way. So, you can rest assured that I am well-equipped to handle any task thrown my way. I also have to mention that I am a team player. I believe that a successful team is built on strong communication and collaboration. I am more than happy to lend a hand to my coworkers and work together to provide the best service to our customers. Plus, I am always down for team outings to try different types of beer (you know, for research purposes). I have to say, I am beyond excited about the opportunity to join the Martin's Food team as a Beer Garden Associate.
