I am familiar with the signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect and I have the ability to report these concerns to the appropriate authorities. I am passionate about social work and I am committed to helping others. Dear To Whom It May Concern, I am writing in regards to the Intake Officer position at Manitoba Possible. I am immensely excited about the possibility of joining such a forward-thinking and progressive organization, and firmly believe that I have the skills and experience needed to excel in this role. As someone who has lived experiences with disabilities and functional limitations, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and obstacles faced by those living with disabilities. I also have a niece with cerebral palsy, which has given me insight into the daily struggles faced by those with disabilities and their families. These experiences have instilled in me a deep commitment to championing the rights of those with disabilities, and I am confident that I could be an asset to Manitoba Possible in this regard. In addition to my personal experiences, I also possess strong administrative skills, having gained experience in filing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel through my previous work experience. I am also fluent in American Sign Language, which I believe would be beneficial in this role. I am interested in this role because it offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those with disabilities. I am confident that I have the skills and experience needed to excel in this role, and would be grateful for the opportunity to put my skills to use in this capacity. I am based in Winnipeg and would prefer a full-time role in this location, but am willing to consider other options.
