Hello, I am writing to apply for the position of Events Assistant for the London College of Fashion Undergraduate Class of 2023. I am a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and I have a strong interest in event planning and management. I am excited to learn more about events management at the London College of Fashion, and I believe that I have the skills and attributes that would make me a successful events assistant. Some of the skills and attributes that I believe would make me successful in this role include: - Welcoming, signing in and saying goodbye to guests - Dealing with any visitor queries in a friendly, helpful way - Seating guests for the catwalk and other live shows - Helping backstage at live fashion shows - Managing an allocated exhibition space - Ensuring areas remain tidy - Assist guests with way-finding and locating student work - Help guests with technology within the space - Assist guests with mobility needs on entry I am a friendly, approachable and helpful person who enjoys delivering great customer service. I am also an LCF ambassador, and I am confident in representing the college in a positive light to guests. I am quick to flag any issues to the LCF Events Team as soon as possible, and I am always keen to learn more about how large-scale events are run. I believe that I have the skills and attributes that would make me a successful Events Assistant at the London College of Fashion, and I am eager to learn more about event management in a hands-on capacity.
