Kolb Elementary School Cover Letter

Dear Principal Lee and Hiring Committee, I am writing in regards to the 2nd grade teacher position at Kolb Elementary School. I am interested in this position and would like to be considered as a candidate. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I have been a teacher for 10 years and have experience teaching 2nd grade. I am familiar with the Common Core State Standards and have experience incorporating them into my lesson plans. I am also proficient in the use of technology in the classroom and have used iPads, laptops, and projectors in my lessons. I am a highly effective teacher and have received excellent evaluations from my supervisors. I am able to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment while also holding high expectations for my students.
