Dear Allison Conklin,
Greetings from your future Sr. Admin Assistant, Rose Francis! I hope this letter finds you in good spirits and with a bottle of wine in hand because let me tell you, writing cover letters can be a real pain. But, when it comes to joining the team at Kansas Board of Cosmetology, I am more than willing to do anything, even if it means writing this letter while balancing a glass of wine on my head.
First and foremost, let me just say how much I adore the name of the company. Kansas Board of Cosmetology sounds like a mix between a fancy salon and a superhero team, and I am all for it. Not to mention, the location is perfect for me. I have always been a fan of Dorothy and her ruby slippers, so Kansas has always held a special place in my heart.
Now, let's talk about the position of Sr. Admin Assistant. I have to say, I am quite impressed with the detailed description of the job. It's like you read my mind and listed all the things I am good at. From managing calendars and schedules to organizing documents and coordinating meetings, I am your girl. I am like the Monica Geller of administrative tasks, organized and efficient with a touch of perfectionism.
But, what really caught my eye about this position is the opportunity to work with a team of passionate individuals in the beauty industry. As someone who is obsessed with all things beauty, I couldn't imagine a better fit. I have always been intrigued by the world of cosmetology and the creativity and artistry that goes into it. So, to be a part of a team that supports and regulates this industry would be a dream come true.
Speaking of skills, let me tell you a little bit about mine. I have over 5 years of experience in administrative roles, ranging from small businesses to large corporations. I have a knack for multitasking and can handle multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat. My organizational skills are top-notch, and I am not just saying that because my sock drawer is color-coded. I am also a pro at managing schedules and coordinating meetings, thanks to my experience in event planning.
In addition to my administrative skills, I am also proficient in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. I can type at the speed of light, well, almost. And I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to improve my efficiency and productivity.
But, enough about my skills and experience, let's talk about the real reason you should hire me - my sense of humor. As you can probably tell, I like to inject a little bit of humor into everything I do. Life is too short to be serious all the time, and I believe a good laugh can make any task more enjoyable. Plus, who wouldn't want to work with someone who can make them laugh during a stressful day?
I also have a knack for building relationships and creating a positive work environment. I strongly believe that a team that laughs together, stays together. And, I am confident that with my positive attitude and team-building skills, I can help create a fun and productive work environment at Kansas Board of Cosmetology.
Before I wrap up this letter, there is one more thing I want to mention. I am a firm believer in giving back to the community, and I was thrilled to see that your company values community involvement and outreach. I have been actively involved in various volunteer programs, and I would love the opportunity to continue giving back through my work at Kansas Board of Cosmetology.
I am excited about the prospect of joining your team, and I am confident that I would be an asset to the company. I am available for an interview at your convenience, and I promise to bring my sense of humor and a bottle of wine (if you prefer) with me.
Thank you for considering me for the position of Sr. Admin Assistant at Kansas Board of Cosmetology. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss how I can contribute to the success of your team.
Sincerely,
Rose Francis
