In addition to my experience, I possess a Master's degree in Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a deep understanding of counseling theories and techniques, and I am well-versed in the latest research and best practices in the field.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build strong relationships with students. I am a compassionate and empathetic listener, and I am able to create a safe and non-judgmental space for students to share their thoughts and feelings. I have experience working with students who have experienced trauma, and I am skilled at helping them process their emotions and develop coping strategies.
I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, which allows me to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. I am familiar with various assessment tools and I am able to use data to identify and address students' needs. I am also proficient in using technology and I am comfortable using various software applications to track student progress and communicate with parents and teachers.
In my previous role, I also had the opportunity to develop and facilitate workshops and presentations on various topics such as study skills, time management, and stress management. I am comfortable speaking in front of large groups and I am able to tailor my presentations to meet the needs of different audiences. I am eager to continue developing my skills in this area and I am excited about the prospect of leading workshops and presentations at Jeff Davis School Board.
