Having recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, I have been actively seeking a position that will allow me to utilize my skills and knowledge while also making a positive difference in the world. When I came across the Finance Volunteer position at the International Rescue Committee, I was immediately drawn to it. Moreover, I am impressed by the International Rescue Committee's commitment to transparency and accountability. As a finance volunteer, I understand the importance of proper financial management and reporting, especially in a non-profit organization. I am confident that my attention to detail and strong analytical skills will allow me to contribute to the organization's financial processes effectively. I am also eager to learn and further develop my skills through the training and mentorship opportunities provided by the organization.
In addition to my academic background in finance, I have gained practical experience through internships and volunteer work. During my internship at a local NGO, I assisted in managing their financial records and preparing budget reports. I also had the opportunity to work with refugees and asylum seekers, which further solidified my passion for humanitarian work. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to the International Rescue Committee and contribute to their important work.
Furthermore, I am proficient in financial software such as Excel and QuickBooks, and I am familiar with accounting principles and practices. I am also highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Additionally, my strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure make me confident that I will be able to meet the demands of this role.

As a volunteer, I am eager to be a part of this impactful work and contribute towards creating sustainable solutions for those in need.
