With over 5 years of experience in iOS development, I have a deep understanding of Swift and have worked extensively with both UIKit and SwiftUI. My portfolio includes various apps in the outdoor and mapping domain, which has given me a strong grasp over the relevant design patterns and libraries. In addition, I am well-versed in working with Mapbox for map functionalities, including managing stylesheets, sources, and layers. My experience with GraphQL and understanding of caching mechanisms will enable me to seamlessly collaborate with the backend team and ensure a smooth integration with the Ruby on Rails backend. Moreover, I have a strong understanding of CoreData and its applications in offline scenarios, which I believe will be valuable in implementing and managing offline capabilities for the app. One of the key responsibilities mentioned in the job description that caught my attention was ensuring the app's compatibility across different environments. Having worked in various environments like Development, Staging, and Production, I am confident in my ability to maintain the app's stability and functionality in all scenarios. I am a quick learner and always open to learning new technologies and skills, which I believe will be valuable in this role. Along with my technical skills, I also have a passion for hiking and outdoor activities.
