Dear Hiring Manager, I am interested in the Paraeducator position at Highline Public Schools. I believe that I have the necessary skills and qualifications for the job and I am eager to put my skills to work in a new environment. I have worked as a paraprofessional for the past three years in a school district. In my current position, I work one-on-one with a student with special needs. I have also worked with students in small groups and in the classroom setting. I am patient and adaptable, and I have a good working knowledge of the IEP process. I am a bilingual Spanish speaker and I have experience working with English Language Learners. I am familiar with a variety of instructional strategies and I am comfortable working with students of all abilities. I am excited to have the opportunity to work in a new school district and to continue my work as a paraprofessional.
