Hello Manager, I am writing in regards to the Swim Instructor position at Griffith Aquatic and Fitness Centre. I am passionate about this role as it combines my two favourite things – swimming and working with people. I have been swimming since I was a young child and have competed at a state level. My experience as a swimmer means that I have a strong understanding of the techniques required to swim correctly and efficiently. I also have experience working with children, as I have been a swim coach for the past two years. This has given me the patience and ability to adapt my instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. I am a strong communicator and have the ability to build rapport quickly with both children and adults. I am also a team player and am comfortable working collaboratively with others. I am available to work on a casual basis and am flexible with my hours. My preference would be to work at the Mt Gravatt centre, but I am happy to consider other locations.
