Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival Cover Letter

Dear Karen Lee Pickett, I am writing in regards to the open position for Costume Designer at the Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival. I am immensely passionate about costuming and sewing, and I believe that I have the skills and experience necessary to excel in this role. I have been sewing for over 10 years, and have experience creating costumes for both stage and screen. I have a deep understanding of how to create costumes that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and comfortable for the actors to wear. I am also experienced in working with a variety of different fabrics, and am confident in my ability to create costumes that meet the specific requirements of the production. In addition to my sewing skills, I also have a great deal of experience in managing and coordinating costume production. I am confident in my ability to manage a team of sewers and assistants, and to ensure that the costumes are completed on time and within budget. I am also experienced in working with directors and actors to ensure that their vision for the production is reflected in the costumes. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to excel in the role of Costume Designer at the Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival.
