My name is Matthew Moses and I am a highly motivated and passionate educator with a strong desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. During my Residency 2 placement at Sale Creek Middle School, I had the opportunity to teach 8th-grade U.S. History to 25 students. This experience further reinforced my belief in the power of co-teaching. I worked closely with my co-teacher to plan and co-plan lessons, and together we implemented a variety of teaching techniques to cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. This experience has not only strengthened my co-teaching skills but has also given me a deeper understanding of the importance of differentiation in the classroom. What I particularly admire about Gordon County Schools is the emphasis on using a variety of teaching techniques and classroom management strategies. As an educator, I strongly believe in the importance of using a diverse range of teaching methods to engage and motivate students. I am constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to make learning meaningful and enjoyable for my students. Additionally, I have experience in implementing different classroom management techniques, and I am confident in my ability to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. After researching Gordon County Schools, I was immediately drawn to Ashworth Middle School. I am impressed by the school's commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
