Dear George Stephenson High School, I am writing in regards to the Student Support Worker position that I saw advertised on your website. I am very excited about the opportunity to work with your school and feel that my skills and experience would make me the perfect candidate for the job. As a student support worker, I would be responsible for providing support to students with special needs. I would be responsible for developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), working with students one-on-one or in small groups to help them succeed, and collaborating with teachers and other school staff. I have a great deal of experience working with students with special needs. I have worked as a special education teacher for the past four years, and have experience developing IEPs and working with students one-on-one. In addition, I have a strong background in behavior management and have been trained in a variety of behavior management strategies. I am confident that I can be an asset to your school and am eager to put my skills and experience to work.
