Dear Miss Sarah Pitt, I would like to apply for the position of teaching assistant at Garden House School. I am immensely enthusiastic about this role, and I believe that I have the necessary skills and experience to excel in it. I have a strong academic background, having achieved excellent grades in my GCSEs and A-levels. I am currently studying for a degree in Education Studies at the University of Roehampton. This course has given me a strong foundation in child development and educational theory, which I believe will be invaluable in a teaching assistant role. I have previous experience working with children in an educational setting, having spent two summers working as a teaching assistant at a summer school. This experience has given me a good understanding of the day-to-day reality of working in a school environment. I have developed strong behaviour management skills, and I am confident in my ability to support children with their learning. I am a hard-working and motivated individual, and I am passionate about making a difference to the lives of children. I believe that I could be a valuable asset to Garden House School, and I would be keen to utilise my skills and experience in a teaching assistant role.
