Dear FLIA,
I am writing to apply for the role of Research Intern at the Foundation for Law and International Affairs. I am a recent law graduate from the University of XYZ and have a strong interest in legal research, report writing, indexing, referencing, and project management. I am confident that I can be a valuable asset to your organisation, and I am eager to utilise my skills in a meaningful way.
I am particularly interested in this position as it offers the opportunity to work on a variety of research projects, and to develop my skills in critical analysis and project management. I am also attracted to the Foundation's commitment to promoting the rule of law and human rights, and I believe that this is a cause that I can passionately support.
I am available to start work from October 2020, and I am confident that I can commit to a role of more than three months. I am also willing to work remotely, although I would prefer to be based in XYZ.
Please find attached my CV for your reference. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my application further with you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Prasanna Ghatani
