Dear To whom it may concern, I am interested in the Reading Specialist position at Fairwold Academy. I have a Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy and am a certified reading specialist. I have eight years of experience working as a reading specialist in both urban and rural school districts. In my current position, I work with struggling readers in grades K-5. I have a passion for working with struggling readers and helping them to find success in reading. I believe that I would be a great fit for the Reading Specialist position at Fairwold Academy. I have a strong knowledge of reading interventions and am skilled in working with struggling readers. I am also familiar with the Common Core State Standards and have experience implementing them in the classroom. In addition, I am a skilled collaborator and have experience working with a team of teachers to implement reading interventions. I am excited about the possibility of joining the team at Fairwold Academy and am confident that I would be a valuable asset to the school.
