Fairhaven Public Schools Cover Letter

To Whom it May Concern, I am Madison Braga and I am writing to apply for the position of substitute teacher at Fairhaven Public Schools. I am a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and I have a degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach in the state of Massachusetts. I am interested in this position because I have a strong interest in working with children. I have experience working with children as a camp counselor and I have also done some volunteer work in elementary schools. I believe that I have the patience and the ability to work with children of all ages. I am also interested in this position because I am looking for a way to give back to my community. I grew up in Fairhaven and I am familiar with the town and the school district. I know that Fairhaven is a great community and I would like to help the schools in any way that I can. I am confident that I have the skills and the experience that you are looking for in a substitute teacher. I am available to start work immediately and I am willing to work on short notice.
