Dear HR Manager, I am writing in regards to the open position for Research and Policy Fellow at Fair and Just Prosecution. I am immensely excited about this opportunity and strongly believe that I have the skills and qualifications that would make me the perfect candidate for the job. As a Research and Policy Fellow, I would be responsible for conducting research on a variety of topics related to criminal justice reform and developing policy recommendations based on that research. This is an area that I am passionate about and have a great deal of experience in. During my time as a research assistant at the University of Michigan Law School, I conducted extensive research on the topic of mass incarceration and its impact on communities of color. I also have experience working on policy initiatives related to criminal justice reform, as I have interned for both the American Civil Liberties Union and the Michigan Campaign for Justice. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to excel in this position. In addition to my research and policy experience, I have strong writing and communication skills. I am also a quick learner and am confident that I can quickly adapt to the specific needs of this position.
